Diablo Fan Art Watch #124: A Diablo Christmas 2011

Welcome friends to a festive installment of the fresco-child. On this early eve before christmas we bring you some fan art new and old to celebrate this holiday season.

We begin this week with Tyrael the Herald Angel by Diablo Fan Art Watch. This painted piece shows a tyrael version of an angel heralding the savior is born.

Next up is a Festive barbarian by fresco-child wearing Santa-esque garb in the middle of a blizzard. I love the details in the weather and the piece over all.

Continuing from there I bring up an old piece called Santa Barb by Lilamiez. This piece also shows the male barbarian in santa gear ready to kill all the bad little demons this year.

Lastly is an old piece NuMioH two years ago; Goat Hill Tavern. This piece I tried to make a Christmas scene from one of the old concept art pieces.

  1. The snowy house isn’t in the database 😛

  2. Nice job on the thematic-grouping. Diablo and Christmas don’t exactly go together like PB&J, so it’s interesting that enough such art even exists to make up an update.  And you didn’t even include the recent non-fan art of the WD as the Grinch.

  3. lol people won’t pay attention to “Diablo fan art watch”….they’ll just see “Diablo Xmas 2011”, self explanatory. and isn’t the snowy house from Christmas In Sanctuary D2 mod?

  4. I still like the snowy tavern the best out of all of HK3K’s stuff.

The Tyrael one is very well done. I’m not a christian but I can see the power of the piece.

    • I’m just happy to see a couple more Christmas based diablo fan art. Its a rarity! And thanks on the comment about my piece.  I spent many hrs on it. thankfully uploading it before i lost the original to a hard drive failure.
