Diablo Fan Art Watch #119: Izual, Duriel, and the Ladies of Diablo 3

Welcome friends to the latest installment of the Diablo Fan Art Watch. This week Blizzard brings us three new fan art pieces for Diablo 2 and Diablo 3.

First up is a piece featuring the fallen angel Izual the Betrayer by Chen Zhuo. This piece shows a new updated version of this fallen angel from diablo 2. I love the creative detail in this making for a unique look for him.

Next up is also another diablo 2 remake of Duriel by Jimmy Xu. This piece shows that pain in the tomb from act 2; in a style borrowing pieces from Azmodan for a really nice and unique look.

Last but not least is a d3 fan art featuring the Ladies of Diablo 3 by Yijonghun. This piece features female versions of all five classes all gathered and ready for battle.

    1. I’m of the general opinion that monsters are more fun and interesting to draw than human heroes. This collection does nothing but reinforce that theory.

Probably since we don’t have any kind of “uncanny valley” built in evaluation about fantasy creatures, but humans have to look just right or else they seem weird to our eye.
