Diablo Fan Art Watch #104: The Former Guardians of Arreat – The Barbarian Effect VII

Welcome friends to the latest installment of the Diablo Fan Art Watch. After a rather disappointing week ranging from the RMAH to the lack of a date for the beta. I figured I’d bring out some epic fan art to ease the pain. So with that we return to the scarred lands of the former guardians of Mount Arreat, and meet up with the barbarian.

This week we have the barbarian protecting a vessel; fighting along side a wizard, and standing ready with his weapon over his shoulder. All ready to kill anything that threatens them along the way.

      • Yes dhas, the 3rd quarter ends 30 September.  That’s when Blizzard said in the last but one conference call that the beta would begin, within the 3rd quarter of this year.  Basically, they have up to the 30th Sept to make good on that.  That probably counts as a bold prediction for Blizzard.

    1. Barbarian and Wizard are really, really great. The remind me a lot about some of the classic fantasy artist!

    2. What’s a vessel, exactly? Is that supposed to be one of these:

If so, why is she a cute little anime girl with horns and a red cape instead of a big shrouded Cultist? Why is the barbarian protecting her? So many (irrelevant) questions… :-[)

    3. Wizard and Barbarian together.  Awesome! very well done.  Not crazy about the Barbarian’s triceratops hoof looking boots though.  Really liking the wizards armor on the other hand!
      New wallpaper, yeah!! 🙂
