Diablo 3 Servers in Australian and New Zealand Confirmed

Although you knew this already from our news item yesterday Blizzard have now confirmed that Diablo 3 servers in Australia and New Zealand have been fired up and judging by the pings you guys were reporting they’re firing on all four cylinders. Rejoice.

Blizzard Entertainment is pleased to announce the deployment of local Diablo III game servers for Australia and New Zealand to coincide with the launch of Diablo III: Reaper of Soul on March 25, 2014. This new infrastructure should result in a smoother gameplay experience for local players.

    1. Great. Hope you guys enjoy this new game mod lol

Now, south america could use some of those too 😀

    2. Indeed!!!

All south america players are begging for local servers. In a good day we have 400ms-600ms.

    3. I hope this is a sign Blizzard is taking the RoS lauch seriously this time, and we will not get another D3 release clusterfuck.

    4. As a Kiwi player this is a very welcome change. I was really surprised last night to see 40ms pings and this explains it. Great timing as I’ve moved to almost exclusive hardcore play since patch 2.0 dropped.

      Thanks Blizzard!
