Season 4 is underway and Patch 2.3 has brought countless new features to the game. Using Kanai’s Cube for *real*, trying new builds in S4, botting consuming softcore, Torment farming sweetspots, and playing defensively. Featuring MJinSpace and Flux.

  • 0:30 — Intro, Season 4 envy, and random non-Diablo warm up questions.
  • 5:10 — Is there too much new stuff in the patch to find time for the season? “There’s a reason to do everything in the game now.”
  • 11:00 — How does DiabloWikiKanai’s Cube and all the new patch stuff feel when it’s “real” instead of just on the PTR? Going big defensive with Unity in the cube and other defensive gear. Odd to be so safe?
  • 20:00 — Where’s the sweet spot in higher levels of Torment? T7 for Bounties and DiabloWikiT10 for DiabloWikiInfernal Machines? Or just T10 full time if you can handle it?
  • 27:00 — Botting. Rumors allege that even Bliz employees are using bots. What % of the highest Paragon softcore players are botting? All of them? Why doesn’t Blizzard care to stop it on Battle.net? Captcha type authentication between game creation?
  • 35:00 — Why are both MJinSpace and Flux still doing Demon Hunters for main when the class got nothing new in v2.3? Deep into DH gear/build/skill issues. Beware.
  • 44:00 — Bored with S4 already? Time for S5? Planning on new classes/builds in S4?
  • 51:00 — Why didn’t Bliz think of something to do for +15m Grift clears? Boring and weird to get Urshi when she can give you nothing.

    1. I have been listening to the Podcasts for quite some time and really been enjoying them aswell.
The concept of beeing sorta open mic is good to keep up the variety.

      /Rant on
Since the start of seasons the Playerbase has pretty much separated into two sides. There are the \pros\ – ppl that really like to go ham climb ladders be knowledgeable about the game and are generally pretty active aswell.

And the casuals that sorta just tag along, complaign about stuff thats part of the game and ask for freebies.(why you no DBS? why no full [email protected] paragon 150, stuff like that)

Why do i bring this up?
To what audience is the show catered?

I personally would consider myself as beeing into seasons quite a bit(para650 on this Wednesday – 5 days in).
Therefor i search for usefull information that seems somewhat researched and put together nicely.
As many ppl i do like to entertained aswell thats why i felt this podcast was quite a good fit for a long time.

But recently I feel like the quality has more turned towards a big rant – yeah i do get sarcasm – and rip on JW for beeing the fault of everything.
      Where is the strategy discussion?
What can be done to improve the system?
      Bouncing ideas back and forth?

If I go to say reddit/r/diablo I can read stuff from say Wudijo talking in depth about how bane of the stricken works and how to best utilise that gem. And all that is free!

My point beeing is that if you want me to pay for content it better be hell of a nice entertainment or stuffed with usefull info!

PS: Sidenote: I feel like letting the guests do more talking can enhance the show, as I feel like interrupting everyone with rude comments can kill the mood and also make the guest less chatty sometimes.

pps: if you disagree and feel the need to 1v1 me ingame: Bling#2942 (eu)
