The second half of our big Patch 2.2.0 discussion. This show focuses on the new item sets and legendary items for the Wizard, Witch Doctor, Monk, and Demon Hunter, plus a farewell to potions. Featuring Wolfpaq, M0uikki, and Flux.
Since we recorded this show Sunday night, the 2000% leg drop rate has ended, and we’ve done a lot more testing of the Demon Hunter and Monk sets. Expect articles soon on the DH, Wizard, and other item set changes.

Diablo 3 Podcast #165: Patch 2.2.0 on the PTR, Part 2
1:00 — Wizard’s new set debate. Not powerful enough? Slow Time can actually be a nuisance? Tal Rasha’s is great damage, but really annoying to use.
10:00 — Witch Doctor changes are lacking. Helltooth is still junk, and Zuni’s has some nice changes, but too much item conflict with helms and gloves outside of set beat Zuni’s items.
18:00 — Monk set changes. Inna’s buffed and awesome. Sunwuko 4 still great, but 6 not functional yet. Skepticism over the Thousand Storms changes.
24:00 — Demon Hunter set changes. Natalya’s tacks RoV onto everything, but no ideal build? New set Unhallowed Essence looks fun but is weirdly limited to Multishot only, and doesn’t seem powerful enough.
34:00 — New/different sets might not be more powerful, but at least enabling different play styles?
44:00 — Everyone seems done with the PTR testing, or sick of the 2000% drop rate. Purple Orbs in normal Rifts: yes or no?
48:00 — Nostalgia for potions already. What will the Alchemist’s Brother drop now?
54:00 — The Southern Highlands 150 kill counter is too damn high.
