Diablo 3 Patch 2.4.0 Preview on BattleNet

Most of  you will know exactly what’s coming in 2.4.0 and may have already been romping around on the PTR. If for some reason you have missed all the 2.4.0 discussion, then there’s a new preview page up on the Blizzard site which runs through all the upcoming additions to the game.

There’s no release date yet but it’s likely to be next week based on the fact that Season 5 is supposed to start on Friday, January 15th.

  1. they should of dropped the patch this week so people can play it and bug test b4  season starts

  2. That’s what the PTR is for, Spriggen.

    • yeah i understand that but something always slips through the cracks last season it was the crippling lag stopped me from playing just dont want that to happen again

      • I tried running with the PTR version, but… it is really showing a lot of lag. Lost two hardcore characters yesterday. It seems not even related to the characters you’re playing (one was a lvl 20 WitchDoctor, other a lvl 10 Crusader), both running without the cube, so almost no passive effects. I hope this is related to the PTR servers being stress tested and across the ocean. So giving us the new version on the live servers would really help to make sure everything runs smoothly when the next season starts.

  3. Not going to lie I’m fed up with lag. They needed to fix this months ago. Troubling no improvement for 2.4.
