Diablo 3 Patch 14 Datamined Info


Patch 14 brings a few new bits and pieces now we have dug into the game files. First up are the new images that have been added in this patch, these are the ones worth adding to the list.

While these are some of the new images worth picking out abd there also a whole bunch of images that have changed in this patch which we have added to our datamining gallery, too many to post here without the feat of flooding the page with images :).

    1. Looks like they did change the Skill UI visually as well, thought can’t really tell how  it will actually look, but still. I’m at a loss for words. 
      I love the credits background. Lots of nice updated textures, backgrounds. This is simply awesome.

    2. I want to complete inferno just for the awesome banner for my character!  A nice badge of honor for completion.

    3. Still wondering about the act selection texture…there’s five acts, or what? Red demon hunter face? What’s with that? Been wondering for a long time. Dorjan, do you have an atlas text output for that one by chance?

      I prefer the old difficulty icons but those are still spiffy. Glad we snagged the old credit screen before they changed the colors, too. 

      • Good catch, I completely missed that because I was so drawn in by the inferno difficulty graphic.  There is definitely a fifth act or “element” with a red face and a larger text box beneath.  Perhaps you fight through 4 acts, after which you go to a fifth stage for the final battle with the intensity being depicted by a red faced icon.  I AM EXCITE!

        Thoughts guys?  Has Blizz been holding out on us with a 5th act? 

    4. How is this being datamined already? My launcher isn’t even advertising an available patch.

      • There’s ways to go about it if you are familiar with certain processes. The patch has likely been up all day, or close to, just not released.

    5. Wizard got hit with a nerf bat! Hah! I guess they’re balancing for +skill items now.

    7. Could you add separators for each line in the comparison table as the unaligned text sometimes results in not knowing if a line belongs to the item above or below?

      • metarox, that should all be aligned now and the skill names have tooltips also.

    9. Under one of the tooltips for ray of frost it mentions something called ‘rune levels.’  Not sure why this is the only skill that does.  Interesting!

    10. Well this is great news to those of us who were skeptical about the promised customization. It seems that these are one time affects, I wonder what happens if you stack two items with bonus to the same skill? Perhaps it does not stack.
      Either way, the numbers are weird. Half of them are the same, or lowered, while some are increased to ridiculous amounts. I am guessing most of that will change by release of course. Right now this is just great news.
       
       

    11. Just noticed they changed Sweeping Wind to a Spirit spender. That kind of pisses me off as I had a couple builds centered around it as a spirit generator…
