DDoS Attacks Should now Stop – Lizard Squad apparently caught

As many of you know, over the past week a group called Lizard Squad has been DDoS attacking game services, including BattleNet. Lots of games were hit including Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, League of Legends and more.

Today it appears the net closed in on its members who have been outed and possibly apprehended by authorities. This is good news as attacks should now stop and we can all get on with the gaming.

A full round-up of today’s events including details of what exactly has happened can be found on the main incgamers.com site.

    • Blizzard, *please* provide us with an offline Single Player Diablo 3 game to play with on our own computer, and I'll buy your game!

Especially since this Auction House had been eliminated, there is no reason why an offline Single Player game cannot be provided to us!

No more DDos affecting our Single Player gameplay!

  1. Let's hope they don't have a Countess Amulet because Jail should hurt. Kappa

  2. I'm glad that's over.

  3. Don't mess with the video games of people who have haxzor computer skills and too much time on their hands for revenge.

I liked the irony of Lizards being outed by technological means, after they used technology in their attacks.

  4. They don't seem to be that remorseful or worried about it. I'm not sure I believe them when they said they were going to stop anyway.
