Blizzcon Day One Recap on official site

BlizzCon DiabloBlizzard has posted a recap of everything Diablo related from BlizzCon day one on the official site. You will have already read all of the news and reveals here on Diabloii.Net already but you may want to give it a once-over.

Just keep away from the comments at the bottom, it’s not pretty. Based on the poll we are running, they seem to mirror how the community feels about most of today’s news. There’s certainly disappointment that it’s going to take another seven months for the Necro to show up.

  1. Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, and Hearthstone are all receiving major content within a few weeks.

Diablo fans have to wait far, far longer.

I dont blame them for being angry.

  2. I don’t understand the wait. Was the Necro not planned out for the anniversary? If they had only worked on it since earlier this year, everything would be fine? Because surely it doesn’t take like two years for a single class? It’s not as if the D3 team has been terribly preoccupied with anything else anyway.

    • Diablo was released on December 31, 1996.

Maybe, just maybe (as in, “in your dreams”), like really hopefully maybe, question mark, the people working on Diablo will give us something for the actual release date anniversary?

Because sadly, Diablo 3 players, in regard to the not-so-pompous-seeming Diablo franchise anniversary event, we have been given nothing in the form of i.e. double xp event or double goblins or the like. Or, as stated above, the Necromancer.
You know, like during the currently running Blizzcon (Diablo) anniversary event.

As far as I’m concerned the fanbase is furious with a retro-pixelated, retro-sound and not remastered Diablo (1) insertion.

The horror of it all 🙁
