AC, and To Hit

AC Dex/5 warrior, sorcerer, rogue, bard and barbarian
AC Dex/5 monk with plate
AC Dex/5+level/2 monk with mail
AC Dex/5+2*level monk with leather and other light armor
ToHit 50+Dex/2 % all classes

- Unique plate is treated as mail and unique mail as leather when calculating AC for a monk.  Shields only give half AC to the barbarian

Damage

Melee Str *level/100 warrior, sorcerer and bard with two-handed weapons and bare-handed, barbarian except for axes and clubs
Melee Str + Dex *level/200 rogue and bard with one-handed weapons
Melee Str *level/75 barbarian with axes and clubs
Melee Vit *level/100 extra bonus for barbarian without shield
Melee Str + Dex *level/150 monk with staff or bare-handed
Melee Str + Dex *level/300 monk with other weapons
Bow Str *level/200 warrior and sorcerer
Bow Str *level/600 barbarian
Bow Str + Dex *level/200 rogue
Bow Str + Dex *level/300 bard
Bow Str + Dex *level/600 monk

Add to those the damage of the weapon. Also:

Hands/Feet for warrior, sorcerer, rogue, bard and barbarian do: 1 damage
Feet for monk do: level/2-level damage

Damage enhancements from the king’s and merciless series of prefixes (+% damage) are applicable to both the weapons for the bard. Damage from enhancements of the slaughter series is only applicable to the weapon it comes on.

Two handed weapons also includes Flail and War Hammer. I have not checked unique weapons that are one handed but take 6 slots.

The barbarian can use a maul and two-handed swords in one hand.

- The swing speed is an important part of any damage calculation. So let us look at all the swing speeds. They are shown as seconds it takes to do one "swing".

- One can note that the Rogue and the Bard always have the same time. Also please not that Sierra have said that they will change the swing speed of the Monk so that his hands get as fast or faster than the stave. If that means they will only change the speed of the hands or that of the staves too, I have no idea.

Skills

Warrior Repair weapons {weapon lose 5 max durability}
Rogue Disarm traps
Sorcerer Recharge staves {staff lose half the charges}
Monk Search
Bard Identify
Barbarian Rage {quite buggy in the beta patch}

The rage works in the following way:

For 12 seconds it adds: 2*level to Strength and Vitality and 1.5*level to dexterity.

For 12 more seconds it decreases Strength, Dexterity and Vitality by the same amount.   Afterwards you lose some of your current life.
