Forum Watch: What Happened to Legendary Ring Variety?
A thread from our Diablo 3 Community Forum asking about ring variety in Season Three brought up an interesting issue. What Happened to Legendary Ring Variety? Diablo 3 Fan Art Watch #176: W.T.F. Edition II (Wow that’s Fan-art) Part I

Posted 16 Dec 2012 by

Welcome friends to the latest installment of the Diablo 3 Fan Art Watch. This week we return to this special fan art watch featuring more cool and unique arts and crafts featuring people and places from around Sanctuary. For more crafts and other amazing fan-made pieces check the first editions parts I, II, III, and IV for more.

This time though we would start off with a bang and feature an incredible sculpture of DiabloWikiThe Unburied made by DarkLostSoul86. There is so much to look at with all the gory little details making this piece a feast for the eyes.

Here’s Dark’s comments on the piece:

I’am also a fan of Diablo’s fantasy universe, so after i played recently released Diablo 3 game, i decided to sculpt smth from there – monsters there have amazing design, clear geometry forms and great textures. I was really impressed with the “Unburied” mob, so i decided first of all sculpt it=) I think it appears not bad)

As material i used Magic Sculpt + little Green Stuff. Body parts on base are Army Painter’s “Battlegrounds” set.

It takes approx. 1 month to sculpt it from zero, and about 2.5 weeks to paint)

Base diameter = ~11.8 cm

See the Diablo 3 Fan Art Gallery for more shots of the sculpture. Thanks to fmulder for the tip.
