Diablo 3 v2.4.3 Hotfixes

The first Diablo 3 v2.4.3 hotfixes are now live and hopefully these will fix the 64-Bit client which was causing problems when the patch releases. Also, an issue with equipping The Barber on a follower and a problem with Shield Glare should be resolved.

General

  • A fix has been deployed that should resolve many of the 64-bit client issues since the release of Patch 2.4.3 (1/9)
    • Please note that this fix will require you to download a small patch
    • If you have updated to the latest patch and are still experiencing issues, please detail your experience in our Bug Report or Technical Support forums and be sure to include your dxdiag report

Items

  • The Barber
    • Addressed an issue where having The Barber equipped on a Follower could repeatedly kill that Follower (1/9)
  • Flail of the Ascended
    • Fixed an issue where Shield Glare would only damage the last enemy hit by Shield Glare (1/9)

  1. Yeah I noticed the Barber thing. No idea how to explain that particular bug; I didn’t even have Spirit Barrage on my skill bar, and my follower kept instantly dying in town.

  2. That’s probably what killed my Barb this morning when I had a disconnect. Thanks Blizzard.

They better do a good one with that Necromancer!

  3. Why is this site posting these news NOW and not earlier? It has been known for a long time that this has been an issue. I did my research and when I was playing the PTR I knew it already weeks ago. I knew before Blizzard knew it, I think. Bunch of amateurs!

I dont want to sound rude, but there should be more professionalism here.

      • Making fun of me is just another sign of how unprofessional this site is.

        • …Commenters on a website are not automatically the same thing as the site itself, as far as I know—and besides, haven’t you looked at a news article on “professionals” of any sort, ever? They generally have a lot of behaviors in common with what we normal folk call “internet trolls”.

        • not only unprofessional , its a bunch of D3 haters also !

          • Yes, but D3 sucks to be honest, it’s just that there are no decent alternatives to it IMO. Maybe D4 will be closer to Diablo’s roots.

    • It’s being posted now because the fix has just gone live. Please read the news before commenting.

I know it’s hard for kids these days to read more than one sentence before getting bored but it helps if you actually read the story.

    • so you knew the Diablo 3 v2.4.3 Hotfixes were being released today back when you were playing the PTR ?

damn dude, you must be psychic

mind telling me what the lotto numbers are for this weekend ?

  4. Why all these negative comments about that dude George all he says is that he saw problems in PTR and make a comment about here. Another thing is the fact this site dont tell about technical issues before they are confirmed in some way

    • the news article is about a patch being released and going live

and his first sentence is “Why is this site posting these news NOW and not earlier?”

how in the hell would this site post this news earlier ?
were they supposed to post last week that the hotfixes are live ??

then he goes on to say “I did my research and when I was playing the PTR I knew it already weeks ago. I knew before Blizzard knew it, I think.”

so since the news article is about the hotfixes going live he MUST be responding to that

so when he says “I knew it already weeks ago”
he MUST mean he knew weeks ago that the hotfixes were going live today

      LOL

  5. George wouldn’t be the first psychic member on the site. We’ve had people predict both the start date of D3 Beta & release day, lest anyone forget. But what’s that you say? Everyday in 2012 had already been selected, so by the law of averages someone HAD to be right? Well, if you wanna be THAT guy, go ahead… Take all the fun out of it…
